Module F – Making Scouting Accessible – Worthing Young Leaders

This module will prepare you, as a Young Leader to make reasonable adjustments to the programme to meet the needs of all the young people in the section. It will also give you a basic understanding of the different additional needs young people may have. By the end of this module, you will be able to:

• State a range of additional needs that young people in a section may experience.
• Understand how additional needs may affect their participation in the programme.
• Explain how to adapt programmes to meet the needs of all young people within the section.
• Explain where to go for further information and guidance.
